Brand new Tailoring Workshop up and running
A much needed tailoring workshop has recently been completed at the Vocational Training Centre. Previously, the tailoring classroom would have doubled as a woodwork workshop and a classroom. Along with the 20 students and 2 teachers, the noise of the sewing machines could be, let's say, somewhat disruptive to the lessons taking place at the other end of the room!
Thanks to the hard work of the Uganda, and the kind donations of supporters back in the UK, the new tailoring workshop will make conditions in that particular part of the training centre much more conducive to effective learning. The two photos show the amazing progress made by the builders in 3 working days at the end of August. The workshop is now fully up and running.
